Condensation problems.

Condensation occurs when air with maximum humidity makes contact with a cold surface. This is known as the dew point.

In conditions of high
water content, condensation will occur on any surface which is cold. Condensation or dew point can be avoided if there are no cold surfaces available for it to happen on. This can be achieved by extra heating in the room or by insulating surface area.

These measures can only go so far in the prevention, as water is continuously produced by people (breathing, washing, cooking).  Condensation is inevitable at some point.

The best solution is to get rid of the water content by means of proper ventilation. With the correct amount of air changes in your home, the water content in the air will be removed before reaching the cold surface.

To eliminate condensation follow these three main points.

1.Extra insulation to reduce cold surfaces.
2.Add extra heat
3.Energy efficient ventilation to remove water content

On average people spend over 80% of their time indoors. 50% of all illnesses are either caused by, or aggravated by poor indoor air quality. A proper ventilation system will continuously remove stale moist air from your home creating a more suitable and healthy place to live.
